Be careful, because doing this in Multi-player mode may cause the Player's hearts to be permanently lowered to 4! This does not confer any special invulnerability. When riding Creatures, the Player's hearts will be replaced by those of the Creature.

Note that when selecting a Character with an invulnerability from the Character Customizer, the Player does NOT receive their invulnerability. This will be indicated by the colour of the Heart(s) above the Character or Creature's head. Some Characters and Creatures, however, are invulnerable to most weapons, and therefore their vulnerability must be exploited by using a special weapon type. Most Characters and Creatures in LEGO Worlds are vulnerable to damage from every weapon, from simple punches to a blast from the powerful Lava Gun. Slime, by the way, is instant-death for just about everybody. Using a character that deals more damage will not increase this. The Player's own character's punches will deal only 1/2 heart damage per hit. Health can be removed by attacks from other Players, Characters, Creatures or Vehicles, or by damage from the environment, such as by drowning in water, or burning in lava or fires. Hearts do not regenerate over time (unless the Player has selected a Character with "Regeneration" such as the Vampire or Dragon Wizard). Players start with 4 Hearts, and can purchase more from the Trader for 100,000 studs each, up to a max of 20 hearts.

Hearts generally represent 2 "hit points" as a measure of how much damage can be taken by a Character, Creature, Vehicle or the Player themselves. Hearts are measure of "health" in LEGO Worlds.
